Celia Marais - Centrophys

About: Centrophys is part of the series "Field Excursion", which consists of nine portraits of strange creatures made out of pieces of meat and fish, and given the names of existing or imaginary bacterias. Some of these specimens were modeled and animated, and integrated into the website for electronic musician Amon Tobin.

Bio photographer: Born in Paris, France, Celia Marais has lived and worked in Montreal, New York, San Francisco, and San José, Costa Rica. As one half of creative duo Notice Bureau, she works on short films, music videos, and websites.
