Ugras Bassullu - Bridge of Sighs
About: The Bridge of Sighs is a bridge located in Venice, northern Italy. The enclosed bridge is made of white limestone and has windows with stone bars. It passes over the Rio di Palazzo and connects the New Prison (Prigioni Nuove) to the interrogation rooms in the Doge's Palace. It was designed by Antonio Contino (whose uncle Antonio da Ponte had designed the Rialto Bridge) and was built in 1600 (wikipedia).

Bio photographer: Ugras BASSULLU was born in Eregli/Turkey in 1989. His interest in literature formed the basis of his interest in the art of Photography. He also writes poems and short stories that reflect both visual and emotional elements. His journey in the world of photography began with the desire to make visual what he had written. He is a founder of Anfoder, a photographer’s association that promotes the history and culture of Anatolia through the visual arts.
